OPEN TO ALL SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE SUMMER CAMP STAFF MEMBERS
In 2005 The Key Foundation established the Diane Livoli Scholarship to help enable young people to serve on camp staff on any Spirit Of Adventure Summer Camp. This includes New England Base Camp, Lone Tree Scout Reservation, TL Storer Scout Camp and Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation. Spirit Of Adventure Scouts working at other Boy Scout Camps can also apply.
The Livoli family has established a Trust within TKF to make money available to college-age camp staff. This money is to help offset the costs of higher education at a two- or four- year college, a trade school, or in a graduate program.
The goal is to make each camp season special for every camper who attends a Spirit Of Adventure Camp. It is hoped that the staff members selected for the scholarship will set high standards of leadership and achievement for those who surround them. This scholarship program will allow the best and brightest to continue spending their summers at camp.
Scholarships will be awarded on a combination of merit, need, and potential contribution to the summer program at a Spirit Of Adventure Camp. See the application for more detailed instructions on how to submit your application to the committee. Applications must be mailed to the address on the application. All applications must be received by midnight on September 15 or they will not be considered for the scholarship.
Camp Staff members who have received this scholarship in the past are welcome to reapply.
