Chuck Blanchette is a nonprofit leader, youth development advocate, and sustainability champion dedicated to outdoor education, leadership training, and organizational growth. As the CEO of The Key Foundation, Chuck drives strategic initiatives that support youth leadership, outdoor experiences, and community engagement.

A proud Eagle Scout and National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) recipient, Chuck has been involved in Scouting and youth mentorship for over 20 years. He spent 14 summers at Wah-Tut-Ca Scout Reservation and served as the New England Base Camp Manager for the Spirit of Adventure Council, where he developed outdoor leadership programs and experiential education opportunities for young people.

With expertise in nonprofit management, sustainability, and youth program development, Chuck is passionate about fundraising, strategic planning, and community partnerships. His work continues to strengthen The Key Foundation’s mission of empowering future leaders through education, outdoor recreation, and service opportunities.

A Wah-Tut-Ca staff member from 2008-2016, Ryan finally succumbed to the pressure to get a "real job" while in grad school. That "real job" is as a nurse practitioner for Baystate Medical Center and Cooley Dickinson Hospital, but he continues to volunteer as a nurse at Lantern Light Camps every summer.

Janelle Drake is the VP of Vervaert Grants for The Key Foundation. An Eagle Scout from Troop 74 in Chelmsford, MA, and an alumna of the Wah-Tut-Ca Reservation camp staff, she has the knowledge of camping programs needed to evaluate proposals for improvements. Janelle has been leading the Vervaert Grant program since 2016.

Dedicated to youth development and leadership, with extensive experience mentoring young people through sports and scouting. As a seasoned soccer referee, she helps cultivate discipline, teamwork, and integrity in youth athletes at elite levels. Her background in Boy Scouting has further honed her ability to guide and inspire the next generation, fostering resilience, responsibility, and leadership skills. Passionate about empowering young individuals, Stephanie strives to create environments where they can grow, excel, and become confident leaders in their communities.

Michelle has been working at or volunteering at summer camps for over 10 years, enjoys outdoor adventures and wants others to have the same opportunity. She has helped to run The Key Foundation’s Lake Swim since 2021. She is currently a Sales & Marketing Consultant at KPMG. 

Dan Murphy is the VP of Communications for The Key Foundation. He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor member, and Wah-Tut-Ca alum originally from Westford, MA who now lives in New York. He has been a TKF board member since 2012, serving previously as the VP of Scholarships and helping to plan and execute many Lake Swims and Annual Dinners.

Carl Williams is a resident of Belmont Massachusetts, Museum Associate, Visual Artist and Graduate of Bowdoin College (where he majored in Government and Legal Studies and Visual Arts). Carl was a scout with Troop 3 (Milton, MA) and Troop 7048 (Sedona AZ). 

Understanding the need for safe youth programming and the barriers of family finances, Carl joined the Key Foundation in early 2024, as the Vice President of Scholarship, and seeks to extend opportunities to scouts of various backgrounds who likewise are committed to uplifting their communities through humble service.
